About the role
Join our embedded systems team to help build real-time firmware and low-level control systems for robotic hands. You'll contribute to motor control, sensor integration, and testing workflows that bring responsive robotic hardware to life.
Requirements
- 01Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Robotics, Mechatronics, EE, or related fields
- 02Experience in Rust or C/C++ for embedded or firmware-level development
- 03Familiarity with Python for scripting and testing workflows
- 04Basic understanding of real-time control systems and motor interfaces
- 05Familiarity with embedded debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- 06(+) Exposure to RTOS environments or frameworks like FreeRTOS, Rust Embassy
- 07(+) Understanding of CAN, SPI, I2C, or other embedded communication protocols
- 08(+) Experience with ROS/ROS2 or hardware-in-the-loop testing setups
Details & responsibilities
- 01Assist in developing real-time firmware for motor control and sensor communication
- 02Work with embedded hardware platforms and integrate sensors like IMUs or encoders
- 03Contribute to testing and calibration of robotic hands in the lab
- 04Collaborate with firmware and hardware engineers to debug timing and control issues
- 05Gain hands-on experience building embedded software for real-world robotic systems
